Video lesson coming soon
First-day orientation
The written lesson is available now. The video will be added here after it is recorded, reviewed and captioned.
This lesson describes the observed Development workspace layout. Your first-login steps and available controls depend on your account and role.
1. Choose the assigned workspace
The observed workspace chooser offered Central Management and a named branch. Select the workspace your organization has assigned to your work. Central administration and branch operations serve different purposes.
2. Check your working context
In a branch, confirm that you are viewing the intended business and branch before opening a record. The observed branch view has a Workspaces link that returns to the chooser. Follow your organization’s process when switching locations or responsibilities.
3. Start with the task you are authorized to do
The observed administrator navigation grouped work under Procurement, Inventory, Operations, and Analytics & Config. Your role may show a different set of links and actions. A missing control is a reason to check your assignment with an administrator, not to work around permissions.
4. Know where to ask for help
Ask an authorized administrator when your workspace or role is unclear. For product support, use the ITS V.Pro website’s support route. Do not put passwords or sensitive inventory exports into an ordinary enquiry.
